Bio

My name is Eileen Harsaw. I am a mutant. There’s not much to say about my childhood. I had one and that’s all that I’m going to say on the subject.

My powers emerged when I was fourteen. I was in school and this snooty bitch in my gym class was bothering me. Oh, you know the type of girl she was: rich, full of herself, and had her own gaggle of dim witted bints, in other words she was Miss Popular. She was giving me grief and something inside me just snapped. Miss Popular and her posse started writhing in pain on the floor. It felt good to be able to do that to her. There was a drawback. A purple haze that came otu of my eyes.

So I had to hide what I was. Sometimes it was easy, other times it was not. Eventually my parents found out when I was seventeen. They didn’t like it and I didn’t much like them so I left. I made my way to New York City.

It was so easy. If I needed money, there were plenty of ATMs. And if you have money, you don’t need anything else. The video cameras didn’t catch me. I disrupted them. Who was I hurting anyway? No one. Banks are insured for that sort of thing.

Eventually, someone did catch on. A creepy, toad-like guy named appropriately Toad.

Toad had a good pitch at the time. I was a mutant. He was a mutant. The rest is his group were mutants. Why shouldn’t I join up? What allegiance did I have to flatscans and the goodie-two-shoes mutants who were devoted to protecting them? The short answer was that I had none and the offer sounded good.

So I joined up and I was the best person that they had. Unfortunately, I was also the only girl on the team. Toad and the Blob which is completely not a misnomer, were pigs. St. John was the only decent one out of the group and that is saying a lot.

We fought. We robbed. We stole. We fought some more. Sometimes we fought amongst ourselves and finally I had enough. I quit. I tried to live a normal life. I tried going to college, getting a job and trying to get on with my life. You know what? It doesn’t work for people like me.

I started doing what I was good at, robbing from ATMs and living a fairly good life. Until this one cop caught me using of all things the camera on his cell phone. He turns it in and the prosecutor is able to have it admitted into evidence. They put two and two together and they arrest me.

So here I am, sitting in jail, unable to access my powers and awaiting trial.

You know, I should have taken Exodus up on his offer. Living on an Asteroid would have been preferable to all this.

Phantazia is a mutant who possesses the ability to sense, manipulate, and disrupt various fields and wavelengths of electromagnetic energy. She can use her power to disrupt anything of an electromagnetic nature.

She is able to disrupt the bio-electric energy fields of other living beings, resulting in pain, paralysis, loss of physical coordination, and in the case of superhumans, the inability to control their powers, causing them to fluctuate in strength, cease functioning altogether, or spew out uncontrollably.

She can generate an anti-gravity field, allowing her to levitate. She could generate a masking effect as well, rendering herself and others near her undetectable to human senses and electronic surveillance.

By disrupting the electrical fields of machinery, Phantazia can short them out completely, or even control them to some degree, opening computer-locked doors, jamming weapon and targeting systems, etc. Her power also granted her the ability to sense various forms of energy in her environment, including electronics and atmospheric distortion that precedes a teleportation effect.

The full extent of Phantazia's mutant powers have not yet been revealed.
